The Stage 2 Creative Arts Course is made up of three Assessments; Product (50%), Practical Skills folio (30%) and Investigation (20%). See the descriptions for each at the bottom of the page.
All three Assessments are to be worked on over the year and submitted for moderation by dates set by the SACE board. Product
This is the major component of the Stage 2 Course an it involves creating two major films or communication design pieces. The overall weight is 50% of the final grade with a breakdown of 30% for Product 1 and 20% for Product 2.
Students can choose their own focus for the year but it is recommended that they stay within the parameters of film making (5 minute short film or clay based animation) and communication design (business logos, magazines, product invention and advertising). Below is a generic overview from the SACE board of a typical "product". The worksheets given to students are found on the home screen.
